Houseboat Adventures Inc. stands as a family-operated compant, owned by Lorelie and Jeff Gordon. In the early 80s, their quest for the ideal lake to establish their houseboat rental venture led them across Canada. The serendipitous discovery of the breathtaking Lake of the Woods marked the realization of their vision, becoming their destined home.
Growing up surrounded by houseboats, their three boys actively joined the family business from a tender age. Commuting to work by fishing boat, they began their Saturday jobs cleaning fishing boats at the age of 10. By their mid-teens, they were adept at piloting houseboats and providing navigation lessons to guests.
Although the boys have ventured into their own pursuits, they return every summer to appreciate the Lake and its beautiful surroundings. Lorelie and Jeff, residing in Kenora year-round, continue to play pivotal roles. The boys' expertise now lies in the indispensable technical support domain that ensures the seamless operation of the business.
